☞ MADDY NOBLE ☜
(she/her) writes a lot of words, and sometimes she gets them in the right order.
She works as a playwright, composer, lyricist, librettist, and every combination therein. Her work includes full-length musicals, 20-minute musicals, plays, cabarets, showcases, short film scores, playwriting workshops. Once, she was hired to write a play for ten seven-year-olds, but they actually meant "write a play with them," resulting in the single most chaotic collaboration she's ever been a part of.
She is currently part of NYU Tisch’s Graduate Musical Theatre Writing program (cycle 35) and has a Bachelors in Music Theory and Composition from NYU. She is an alum of the MUSE/Maestra Music Assistant Experience and was part of the Mentorship class of 2023.
She is a proud member of The Dramatist’s Guild, ASCAP, Maestra, and Rise, and she has some things on the New Play Exchange if you want to check them out. More importantly, she’s been listening to a lot of Vince Guaraldi lately, and if anyone has figured out the changes to “Alma-Ville,” please send them over.
